![]() By the way, have you ever played a Wizard using the Firebird or DelSere set? Because if you did you would understand that Magic Missile is a mandatory part of the skill rotation and has absolutely nothing to do with Mana. Mana management was always a thing in every game. ![]() or they could just stop casting and wait until the mana is replenished? This is in plenty of other games and I don't see a problem here. I don't like being forced to play into scripted patterns. In D3 you have no choice, you are forced into a very specific pattern of time bubbling and charging up with signature spells. You had the freedom to do whatever you want in whatever order you wanted. In D2, you had the choice to orb non-stop, or you had viable options to do other things (Static Field, Frost Nova, Hydra, Chain Lightning, Glacial Spike, Ice Blast, even Telekinesis for stun). Instead of being creative and giving you incentives to take other actions, they took a lazy way out and forced you to cast weaker signature spells in between to increase the total damage output. This tactic works in both D2 and D3.Īs per signature spells, that is a game design issue of D3, where they wanted to avoid you doing the same thing over and over again (just casting Orb and nothing else). It did feel a little smoother in D2.īy the way, try shift clicking the ground to improve your aim instead of casting it at a specific target. They made it bigger so that it's easier to aim, but that doesn't offset the loss of spikes. Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread
